Website privacy

This notice describes this public SeeFood demonstration website. It does not describe data collected by the SeeFood iPhone app, restaurant ordering, or payment services.

Browsing the demo

This website does not ask you to create an account, submit payment information, or upload a scan. It does not include advertising or analytics scripts, and its application code does not set cookies. Saved dishes are stored in local storage in this browser on your device; the site does not send your saves to a server. Tap Saved on a dish to remove it. Your selected dish can appear in the page URL so you can share its preview.

Hosting and fonts

The hosting service receives ordinary connection information such as your IP address and browser request metadata to deliver the site and files. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which also receives connection information when your browser requests them. The hosting provider may also set security cookies for bot protection. These services operate under their respective privacy policies.

AR previews

The site links to USDZ model files hosted on SeeFood’s Firebase Hosting and Firebase Storage services, which receives standard connection metadata when a file is requested. On supported Apple devices, AR Quick Look handles the camera experience. This website has no camera upload or recording feature and does not receive camera frames from Quick Look.

Contacting SeeFood

Contact buttons open your email app. A message is sent only when you send it. If you email us, we receive the details you include and use them to respond to your enquiry. To ask about your correspondence or request its deletion, email seefoodarapp@gmail.com.

Restaurant pilot requests

If you request to join the pilot, SeeFood stores your restaurant name, city, contact name, email, optional phone, website and notes, and your consent to be contacted. We use this information to review your request and follow up about the pilot. Requests are stored privately in Firebase and accessible to authorized SeeFood administrators, not other restaurants or diners. Hashed network identifiers help limit spam. Contact seefoodarapp@gmail.com to correct or delete your request. Do not include payment details or sensitive personal information.
